12/8/06 - Accepted to adopt as a single mother
12/11/06 - CCAA changes program to not accept any single mothers as adoption candidates to be effective 5/1/07
3/12/07 - DTC (Dossier to China)
3/29/07 - LID (Log in Date)
8/22/08 - Homestudy update and renewed fingerprints and I-171H
5/8/09 - Received email from GWCA with Friday's Angel information
5/15/09 - Looked at information on Friday's Angel for the first time
5/20/09 - Filled out Waiting Child application
5/20/09 - Reviewed Miao Guo Qing's file
7/6/09 - Received updated information and new pictures
8/3/09 - LOI (Letter of Intent) submitted
8/6/09 - Began homestudy update (again)
8/12/09 - PA (Pre-Approval) received
8/21/09 - LSC (Letter Seeking Confirmation) received
8/28/09 - Signed LSC sent back to CCAA
9/10/09 - Received TA (Travel Approval)
10/18/09 - Gotcha Day!!!
10/21/09 - Aiden is officially my son!
11/05/09 - Aiden became a U.S. citizen and came home for good!

But this time there was something new
A nurse came in and took MY hand
And then she gave my hand to you.
Can this be true? I'm almost six!
And there are infants here, you see?
But then you kissed me and I knew
The child you picked this time was me.
